This D over D is not in Cherrypickers. Is this a new RPM?

Jefferson Nickel RPM Book

The Jefferson Nickel RPM Book is really nice....and helpful with great photos. Thank you Mr. Wiles for putting it together and making it available.

But as far as I see, this RPM is not listed in the book as of yet. HOWEVER, RPM-003 looks quite close. The left verticle bar in the photo does not seem to have the same doubling spread as these nickels, but everything else looks like a match. This might be a good candidate for sending in for a hands on review.

Ray Parkhurst Photos

The Ray Parkhurst photos of the 1946-D RPM #17 stage B is quite similar to these posted below. Excellent photos, by the way. However, here the D under the secondary D is further south than the secondary D and have a bit more prominence or spread of the inside arc doubling.
