1964 d Dime on copper planchette

When I first seen this coin I thought it was just tarnish on it. As I took photos of it to add it to my albums it seemed to be copper bleeding through like happens on nickels. I weighed it compared to a 1964 d dime and while I have some very cheap scales it hit a solid 2.6 while the normal dime was 2.2 and of course it jumps between 2.3 and 2.2. But this dime with the copper bleeding through hits a solid 2.6 grams.
Does anyone know how I can determine if this 1964 was struck on a 1965 planchette ? I weighed several 1965 and up clad dimes and they are all 2.2 so I am stumped ?
My knowledge base is very weak when it comes to metal composition errors.
    Thanks

It's a toned silver dime. Normal weight is 2.5 grams.
