CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

The doubling on the reverse appears to be Longacre's doubling, named after the designer and a peculiarity commonly found on IHC. However, I am not to sure concerning the doubling on the obverse that appears on the 75 digits of the date.

Hopefully Rick Snow will drop in and give you his opinion.

These pictures are all taken on the Obverse of the coin. There is no doubling on the reverse. The word America and the headress are all doubled. I took one shot of the end of the feathers on the headress as it shows up best there.

      Thanks BJ

Sorry about that - I am so used to looking at AMERICA on the Lincoln cent my mind automatically thought reverse. Well anyway, it is still Longacre's doubling since it occurs on both sides of the lettering.
