This is a real cool I think, Electroplating error with lots of cracks, I used some arrows to point out the cracks ..

Have I told you how much I hate the zincolns? Richard are you sure this isnt just a plating issue? Its really tough to tell with Pics. I have popped similar looking items with my thumbnail.

It won't pop, tried that, its a hard as ???? Lol .. It split the planchet from the spear to the rim, and inside Abe jacket . Its not much different then the issue your talking about Jim, ( gas ) same effect .. I would like to think of it as, out with the old saying and in with the new .. Lol .... Fred Weinberg told me something like that, when I posted it over at Pcgs a couple of years ago ..
