  • many die cracks in 2015-D cents near OKC

I live in a Western suburb of Oklahoma City. Last month (plus) I received a roll of cent that were all 2015-D. Each an every on of them had a crack on the top edge of the shield on the left side (opposite Lincoln's shoulder). The roll was the only one I received that was from a particular armored truck company.
I discovered this about a month after I got the roll. I went back to the same bank branch and they were able to find three more rolls from the same company. I checked them and they all had the same issue. (Except one coin which was an older zinc cent.)
There were at least four different die cracks some grew to extend beyond the shield. I suspect there are cuds floating around here, one could have been replaced by that older cent in my rolls.
If anyone in the OKC area has found such it would be interesting to me to know about it.
BTW about half of the 2015-D cents I get in mixed date rolls and in change seem to have the same errors to varying degrees.
    Thanks

here you can see the crack as a line about 1/3 the way up from the field with protruding blobs in addition to the crack

I'am sorry I really can't see anything in that photo.I know that there are some shield cents that have die marker's for ddo on the left top side of the shield. I would suggest doing some research,on the following site's doubleddie.com and coppercoins.com,or even right here! again thanks for sharing! have a great day.

Here are some example's of what too look for on shield cents!Extra thick lettering with split line's in them. They are very hard to see because of the reflection coming off the new cents.I'am sending you a pm that should help you outImage694.jpgImage695.jpg
