This type of mintmark always has me guessing (and I'm generally wrong, but my educational experience benefits!) but I am encouraged by the obvious "tilt" and apparent rounded split lower serif. Looks like some die wear in play as well. I'm leaning to the YES vote but will eagerly await the experts to weigh in.Bob

The upper end of the vertical bar is narrowed, the "secondary D" on the left side seems to be a low, flat shelf, and doubling continues above the D-mintmark. These observations, if accurate, are not consistent with an RPM.Mike Diamond. Error coin writer and researcher.
