Its Spring ! A 2008 Lincoln Cent Bee Hive
Though its value is not much, I find it a little comical that the die chip involved with this issue can actually stay attached, and generally escapes the mint.
This was in a collection I bought last year. I have been using it as an educational piece, and I will probably have it slabbed so it has a slightly better chance at survival since its a zinc cent.
