I am looking at a 2007P Roosevelt Dime Satin Finish SMS coin. The coin appears to have areas on the cheeks, forehead, hair and some of the lettering on the obverse is shiny and has a blotchy appearance. The reverse of the coin is satin finish the way it should be. I have seen thousands of satin finish coins and have never seen this happen. Anyone know what's up? What kind of error is this? Was the planchet improperly prepared? Is it struck through with grease? Comments and guidance wanted. Thanks
