CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    2008 P Arizona State Quarter doubled die??

I seen info on the extra cactus but nothing else. If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Please specify what specific areas I am looking at? I see a normal looking coin with a few die chips and maybe some die wear.

      I copied this from in between the photos that I submitted.         The extra lines on the middle slanted line on the letter N in Arizona & on the bottom right hand side of the A at the end of Arizona? I apologize for not specifying that earlier.

          I missed this thread.

          I think what you're detecting is common die wear on nickel and clad coin where it manifests into die deterioration doubling.
