CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    This coin looks to have 2 errors. For the line at the top of the coin under "United States" are you thinking die crack or planchet issue? I don't have a good guess for the defect at the buffalo's legs but look forward to the groups thoughts.

    Hello! I I am thinking a die crack above the buffalo and a strike through below, but I could be wrong. Nice find!

      Do you suspect its struck through grease or something else? Other grease strike throughs I have obfuscate the detail under the grease. In this case the buffalo's hoof is visible in the affected area but is lower by about the thickness of a piece of paper or 2
