  • Unstamped Quarter?

Hello all was just wanting to inquire, I found a coin that came out of a pop machine one day a few years back that looks and feels weight wise like an unstamped blank quarter, if this is so would something like this be worth anything, I know nothing about coins so any information will be helpful. thank you!

    Welcome to the forum.

It is hard to say without some type of picture what you have. Does it appear to be clad (white metal over copper)? If you have an accurate scale, it should weigh 5.67 gr and that would give sombre indication if it is a quarter planchet.

      Re-Unstamped Quarter

Ok I will try to get it weighed, it is white metal over copper, you can see the copper on the side edges of the piece which are still smooth and both faces of the piece are completely blank. if it does weigh and is determined to be an unstamped quarter I am looking for a kinda price range of what something like that would be worth, as I would be interested in selling it. but unfortunately my knowledge on coins are little to none. Thank you for your reply and any other information you have would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like an unstruck quarter planchet. These sell for about $5 on eBay.
