    1997 Lincoln Cent = Error ???

Here is a Lincoln Cent that looks a lot like the one that Mr. Diamond showed and wrote about in the last Error Scope [Vol. 17 No. 1] that was struck with tilted dies. It is a different date, and isn't as dramatic as the one shown in his article, but resembles it. I would appreciate your opinion and comments.

Nope. This coin was struck through grease on both faces. The design rim is quite strong next to the weakly struck area. If it was a tilted die error, the design rim would be weak or absent.

Thanks Mike, come to think of it, that would be logical.
