CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Squeeze job or severe finger feeder damage ?

    A client stopped by and had a few odd ball Lincoln cents. I was just extremely busy with customers all day. So i really did no
    have the luxuary to break this out and analyize it for size weight and other things. It could be a squeeze job but the coin just looks odd on both sides. I will get another chance to look this coin over in a few weeks.

      Yup. That's damage. You can be 100% certain it happened after the strike because the rim is missing.

        Just making sure. Saturday was was crazy busy, I didn't have time to look things over at all. She stopped by Sunday and I told her the news.
