here is what I could determine in a short period of time:
It's a 1963-D Lincoln Cent.
The coin appearance wise looks like it was struck on a planchet that may have been extremely close to a Lincoln cent planchet.
Dropping it on glass, the ring sounded like silver, BUT I have to note that this also may be due to how thin this coin is.
The coin weighs 1.89 grams.
The diameter is 21.8 mm
The thickness is 1.0 mm
I went through the 63 page PDF which lists all the majority of foreign coins struck at the US Mint.
There wasn't a good match in the 1962/ 1963 / 1964 year.
I am going to do the math to see if it is something crazy like a Lincoln cent struck on a 10 cent thickness stock.
