CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I couldn't seem to find my 2022 mint set, so I'm guessing I haven't received it yet. However, I looked at my 2021, and both P and D exhibited the same apparent thickness of the designer's initials, so I believe this is just the normal design.

It's a bird! It's a plane! Aw nuts... It's merely two die scratches!

The other 2022’s were of normal thickness, signicantly thinner.

The thicker FG more than likely came from a different minting press. Thicker is OK, if it was on more devices (numbers, letters etc,) then, it might be worth investigating. nless there is something additional money that hints on doubling, I would just put them off tobthe side and see if John Wexler eventually says something about it. I think it's a pretty minor issue.

In my opinion, sure it appears a bit thicker, but no clear evidence of doubling.
