  • 2013 D Mount Rushmore Quarter

I found this quarter which is obviously something wrong and I have no idea what happened to the coin.
Inside of the damaged area of the obverse is mostly raised. Reverse side looks normal.
    Give some opinion please.

The reverse, near the nose, left center of the coin. That area appears to have dented into the coin. Withe the obverse raised, This could have been a failed attempt at a "push out coin".

To me it looks like something that is post mint damage, done after it left the mint.

Compared to the normal coin, the reverse looks same.
