CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    2022-P LINCOLN DIE CLASH

HI ALL, I FOUND THESE (2022-P LINCOLN CENT DIE CLASHES) COINS IN A BANK ROLL THAT I PURCHASED ON EBAY.. THE COIN ERROR IS LISTED AT Maddieclashes.com AS (TDC-1c-2022-01) -- I WAS WONDERING IF THIS TYPE OF ERROR IS WORTH SENDING TO NCG OR PCGS TO GET CERTIFIED?

Hummm I don't not believe the coins are as much in value as the error fee, the encapsulation and return postage would be. The CHEAPEST way out would be ANACS in my opinion. They would charge $19 to encapsulate and grade it. If you become an insider, I think the verification fee is $7.

If you attend a show that has an ANACS representative, they will help fill out the paperwork, and they will ship it for free. Otherwise, sendingthe coin securely, should cost about $7.50. Return shipping is a tab bit expensive because the third party grading shipping services ship via UPS or FEDEX. Typical return shipping with Insurance, from ANACS to you is say, $24.

Price breaks come to people who are ANACS insidsr some months they offer coin type specials.

OR, you post good photos of the obverse and reverse here on the CONECA forum, under the SERVICES area. I think the one for EXAMINERS Iis for errors. They will look at the post and determine if they would like you to send the coin to them. On the home page of CONECA you may find the attribution costs, which is probably $6 or under. Postage both ways is cheaper. When it comes back, buy an airtite container for the coin. In my opinion, that costs close to 20 bucks .
