1906 V Nickel Error
This is a 1906 V Nickel I’m curious if this would be considered damage or if this is a dye break? I would seem to believe it’s a break seeing the bottom of the E is on top of the upper portion. Could I please get someone’s professional opinion. I greatly appreciate everyone’s time.Tags: None

In my opinion, the first thing I would do is get a toothpick or sliver of wood.
I would check the surface of that letter to see if its gunk that gives you the
Illusion of it being a cracked letter.Gary Kozera

I’ve always heard a rose thorn works well.

I suggested wood because it probably will not scratch the surface of the coin.
I believe there is something there, just not sure what it is.Gary Kozera
