CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 1982 Lincoln Penny no mint

Here is a 1982 Lincoln Penny no mint mark off center die Obverse only. The reverse is in the center and the Obverse is off to the right 1mm maybe 2mm. I know there are a lot of issues and other things collectors look for. I believe it's a copper. If yall see any errors or if that's the only one and does the small date make a difference?

If just one side is off center, then it should be considered a misaligned die (MAD).
If both sides show some off center, then it would be an off center
if a coin is bigger than the normal size, and it has the full image, with nothing missing, it is considered a broadstrike.
