CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

1943-S with an additional design element in the knot of Jeffersons hair.

I have 4 of these and each one is slightly different. It looks like an addition to the die. It is just to the left of the knot, before the collar. Its 3 sided with a little tongue shaped thing sticking up. 1943-S Knot 1.jpg 1943-S Knot 2.jpg

The pictures resemble an aerial view of the land just south of rock springs wy when flying over.
is there a reason you can not show a view of the whole coin when posting?

      Maybe it's a pattern. 1943-S pattern Jefferson.jpg

Nice picture, thanks. It looks to me to have taken a hit.
The first two multi-zooms are 2 different coins, yes or no.
