  • 1988 1 Cent. I am dumbfounded.. PMD?

Got an unusual rim indentation, on obverse and reverse. I am not versed in interpretation of such a coin. I would like to be versed. Any help besides Ronald, will be greatly valued.

I have an Idea, I researched this coins symptoms and am pondering whether or not to call this a broken coller, or an inverted coller. How does that hymn sound?

Darn, you know what. I just researched tilted die. I know this is not an example of that , but now I realise that I threw one back last week in the form of a quarter. Darnit, live and learn.

Hello.....your coin exhibits post mint damage. Not a mint error.
