i'm pretty sure it is just an extreme effect from when they rolled out the stock. not used to seeing it like this on zlincons though. i doubt it is some plating issue but am not 100%.

looks neat though.

that 3rd picture is VEERRRYYY funny looking as it was taken at an angle. makes ol abe look like a balloon head. lol

Do you have photos of the reverses of these coins by any chance?

Yes I have pics of the Reverse, they are the same as the Obverse, in fact I have a picture of the uncirculated mint bag from 1995 as well, I have found about 12 of these coins so far and have not hardly even begun to make a dent in the mint bag.. thank you for your response I appreciate that very much, I will be posting pics of the Reverse as soon as I get home from work, I can also post pics of many others of the coins, if you would like? I am kind of new at this posting stuff and did not know I had gotten a response and again thank you so much.
