  • 1969 D Roosevelt Dime Strike error? Counting Wheel marks?

Roosevelt dime 1969 D with what appears to be damage (slashes) on obverse, but circular lines across the bases and tops of most of the letters on the reverse and especially apparent at the tops of "One Dime." Also, almost complete obliteration of the "E" in E pluribus unum. What would cause this? I am new to the hobby and interested in learning. Please help, if you may.

It appears from the images that your coin has been damaged outside of the mint. The circular lines does indicate damage from a counting machine wheel or other sorting/roll rapping device.

Thank you for your response. I thought it was from a counter of some sort, but again, I am new and learning what is mint damaged and what is not. I appreciate your help.
