CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    25 dollars a year here. But with no encapsulation or tedious mail. Or well maybee coneca has capsuled coins idn if i were you, pay the 25 a year and ask away.

      Yes sir I am a member. I posted a coin I thought was new DDO but was never informed of the next step. Just asking what I should do

          Far as I can tell, there is no direction or leadership within CONECA at this point regarding attributions (varieties). Not sure about examinations (errors). I've tried for over a year to get a reponse to similar questions, but none has been forthcoming. Maybe you will be more lucky, and I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if there is any response from anyone from CONECA.
