CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    I think i should keep this one. Its almost mint state. Would you? Im going to put it in a 2 by 2. Under lamination error if no objections here by a profesional.

    looks kinda like a foldover lamination or something. doesn't have the look of a standard planchet defect lamination error.

    this type of thing is usually on the rim/edge.

      Hummm the rim there, near that area is discolored, and only where that area is. Sometimes this happens when coins are exposed to high heat for a period of time. It could have been in a dryer for a single load, and had the surface crack from the heat.

      In any event, it's pretty minor.
