CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

greetings, so i looked at both of the 007/008 the spread on the "WE" seems to be a bit over the top from the listed ones, so I am going to go with Machine Doubling at this time due to The lack of photos to verify the Die Markers.Withe the coin in hand see if your coin has the markers as listed, but remember everything must match up perfectly or its something else.

If you search for this thread, 1986 Liberty Silver Dollar MD Strike, I posted a fine example of Machine Doubling with a number of images. Notice the date which has a lot of reduction. If you add the raised area and shelf (MD) of the date, it would be the same width of a normal date.
