1850 Seated Dime with mysterious lumps

This dime has several small lumps on the bottom half of the obverse, and I can't figure out what might have caused them. I would appreciate your opinions.

Could be a rusted die. Could be small die dents. Could be an indication that this was struck by counterfeit dies. Hard to say without an examination under a high power microscope.
