1900 Indian Head penny with a re-punched date
In going through the things my father left to me I found a 1900 Indian Head (no mint mark) penny, but it apparently has a re-punched date. The only published data I have found to date is two other 1900’s with slightly different directions. Can anyone direct me as to where I can find additional information?

This might be 1900 over last zero, Snow-12.
A website to compare coins :

I have the latest PDF version of the Snow Flying Eagle and Indian Head cent books, and they are well worth the money. It allows me to magnify the photos an see exactly what needs to be seen. Amazing books for the price. Two volume set.

This is what Rick Snow says about 1900 RPD Snow-12:
S12 1900, 2nd 0/0 (s). Obv. 15: (RE) Moderate repunching visible inside the loop of the last 0. This is a scarce variety. {40, 15}
He rates the variety 2 stars out of 5.Last edited by MintErrors; 06-19-2023, 11:31 PM.Gary Kozera
