    Roosevelt dime

Hey guys, the other question that I had about a particular coin that I have in my coin collection is a crazy looking Roosevelt dime that I found in the coin machine at my supermarket that I shop at. I believe it has been damaged.

In my opinion, this is post mint damage. It was struck like it was supposed to be then, somewhere in circulation it got scraped up and bent. This couldn't have happened like this, and have a good strike on the back warped or dented. The tons of pressure would have hammered most of this flat.

There is damage on the rim as well as on the coin itself. Those two processes in the mint are separate from one another. Difficultbto know exactly what happened, but more than likely, it was done outside of the mint.
