  • Flat Field Strike Doubling "FFSD" ??

Is there is difference between "FFSD" and The "Basic" Strike Doubling ?? The Basic one is after strike right ??? And The "FFSD" occur's at the initial Kiss of the strike right ???? I'm open to any feedback on this.. thanks

Flat field doubling is an effect generated by a double strike. Strike doubling is generated by a single strike. I really don't like the term or concept of flat field doubling. It should simply be subsumed under double strike.

Doubling that occurs at initial contact does occur, but is referred to as a stutter strike.
