If you want to send this in, it depends on what you want in terms of sending it in.
Do you want to take a chance at calling this an SMS ? There ha e been just few, less than a handful found, all were uncirculated. Depending on the owners value, and where you send
it. They can charge a pretty hefty ( plus all of the normal services and return shipping) if it is an SMS, at the third party grading service.
Third party graders like ANACS, NGC or PCGS are quite expensive, like I stated above. It's tough to know what it would cost for it to get certified. Rough estimate, if it comes back as a non SMS would be between 60 to 100 bucks. If it is an SMS...which is highly doubtful, the extra fee, your at the mercy of thr TPG whether they charge a 1% fee. Some set a dollar value, if the coin is above the value, they take 1% of it. Some cap the lower cheaper grading services, so expensive coins have to pay for a higher grading tier.
Call them or visit their website for more info.
This coin being circulated will create a duller patina due to handling issues.
I cannot assess the coin if it has a chance at SMS with just a photo of the mint mark. A normal well focused photo of the mint mark is needed, this one is a bit blurry when zoomed in. A focused mintmark is much better than a unfocused closeup. We can take a good photo and make it larger if need be.
You might be able to put a post here under the main page. Under coneca services. I guess it would fit under attributions, but make sure you explain exactly what you see and provide full
obverse and reverse photos and a clear cropped photo of the mint mark. IF the coneca staff deem it needs to be seen in hand, they will let you know.
