  • Tweaked Rim 1995-D Washington Quarter

It pays to have a bank teller on your side--just went in today to buy a few asst. rolls for searching, and, the Gal said--"Oh, I have a funny-looking quarter"--I asked to see it, then, offered to buy it--cost? 25 cents of course, after all, its a bank. The reverse rim is beveled about, what, 35 degrees, all the way around. Hoping the Pro's here can give me the Official name for this type of error. It weighs in at a scant 5.07 grams, and the diameter is equal to a "normal" quarter. And, what is this error on a rarity scale?
    Thanks
    Calvin

It's been tampered with. It's not an error.

It looks like it was milled, outside the mint, to fit into some sort of holder. If you remember the lucky penny holders of way back when, similaar to that.
