    2020D Weir Farm CT error

Notice the shapes between the letters, ignore the DDD.

I am looking at the T and A of STATES and see other lettering faintly, it feels like it may be slighty raised but my sense of touch is not the best, could it be a die clash, wrong planchet?

      Hi onecent1909,

I did ask to ignore the DDD machine doubling, I see it. However, I also see shapes in the field around the letters and that is what I am curious about, could just be pareidolia but others have seen it as well.

Anyway, appreciate you taking time to look.

The shapes in the field is Pareidolia... a wrong planchet would be bank when struck... an already struck coin would show more of the design.... a clash would show more clash in the more center area.. and would match up to a upside down mirrored image of the reverse....if this was double struck, more area and the reverse would show... this is just Pareidolia. sorry
