CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hello I found this 1943 p that weighs 4.69 any info would be greatly appreciated

    In my opinion, war nickels with some silver content weigh 4.8 grams. This is pretty close.

    If you search this forum, there are charts that offer what each coin denomination and coin type weighs. You can probably Google this info as well. I personally like to help people who are willing to help themselves. A little effort and research can go a long way.

      Wow what a response. First of all you shouldn't assume the poster didn't research. I was wondering about the weight because everything I was reading about the war time nickel indicated the weight was off more than the give or take the mint has. I didnt expect to get a response that was given. But I do appreciate you taking the time to respond to me.
