CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I have a 2015d dime that is missing the clad layer or something else is wrong with it that I can't put my finger on. Please take a look and send feedback if you want to.

In my opinion, this coin may have been in the ground. It appears to have light pitting on the obverse. The rim area below Roosevelt to the south looks damaged as well. I can quite make out whats going on on the reverse since the photo appears to be a tad out of focus when i zoom in with the tablet. I think it's environmental damage. That's the best I can do with photos provided.

occnumis2021 I didn't see that other post. If I had I would have said that the answers aren't going to change much and point out the post link.

Everyone that this applies to in future posts....

Re-posting a coin only muddies the water and can cause people extra work to answer the same type post the same way. =\
Our answers aren't going to change much, if at all.
