CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    In my opinion, the lighting is quite high, making it difficult to assess this coin.
    Are you saying the only letter that might be Doubled is the A ?

    Can you add a photo with a little less light ?

    I will offer my opinion, normally..... a doubled die shows more than one letter or number. I know of only one doubled die that has a single letter out of the hundreds I have looked over. It could have been caused by some condition that made that letter appear to be a doubled die, but may not be.

    I will offer to look at additional photos if you upload them here. I believe others will add their opinions as well.
