I only bought two because they were all I could afford at that time, but I wanted to buy all eight! I consider the coin as under graded by ANACS at MS-63, but I like the old soap-bar slab so much that I wouldn't want to have it in a different holder.

1992 American Silver Eagle - Struck Through Grease(?) - Heavy Toning
I bought these ASEs in 1992 from my favorite coin dealer in Dallas, TX. He had eight Silver Eagles like this, all from the same roll with a strike through in the same area, but with a slightly different shape on each. The coin in the slab was Blast White with a few spots, just like the raw coin, but it started toning in the slab after about a year, and hasn't stopped yet! I have no idea if the substance that caused the strike through also caused the toning, or if something else contaminated the surfaces.
