1935 wheat penny ???
Hello my name is Susanne and I'm new here. I'm not a paid member yet, but I just wanted to introduce myself and see if I could get some help figuring out what is wrong with my 1935 wheat penny. If anyone can help please do? Thank you so much. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Hello ! and welcome aboard !
Well this was done outside the US mint. It looks like the coin may have been used in a vice or other heavy pressured device. The obverse had a pretty decent original strike, but Lincoln's head is now caved in, and the original rim is flattened and slid a bit to the southeast.
The reverse is just pure post mint damage (PMD). The weird looking lines, may be from the vice itself. Its tough to say. Bob P, one of the attributers who frequents this forum, likes to call these "garage coins". People have a little too much playtime, at times.
Others will eventually respond in here as well.
