2000-P 25c The Palmetto State, Multiple Err, Doubling!.
Hello Coneca, I found this 25c The Palmetto State Quarter (business) in my collection, Reverse side has some interesting Errors, several die breaks/cracks, doubling stronger on certain elements. Obverse has few minor die cracks, State of America doubling!. Looking for more information and experts views on it.. Thank you. -
In my opinion, it appears to be lower and shelf like. It is either mechanical doubling or die deterioration. In any event, it is worthless doubling.
In addition, this website lists the doubled dies and varieties that were recognized by CONECA.

Not sure if you looked at the state map boundaries right below "The palmetto State area-map doubling..! besides letter elements.
Also wondering about what you said"No DDOs/DDRs listed

Gary, there are several elements and mint error issues in that coin besides doubling, you did not say anything about those??.

Also wondering about what you said for that coin year or state" does this mean, such Error coin" cannot be recognized or can't be found or reported?. Thanks
That was my opinion, and I am sticking with it. I did not see anything else worth mentioning. Die cracks end up happening, and it's pretty common. It would have to be something super dramatic for some one to even consider it to be a valuable die crack.
quarter dies last about 325,000 strikes before being retired from service. That means there were other mint state type coins available out there, from the same die for 23 years and no one found one ? I trust my sources when I offer opinions. New discoveries are occasionally found.... like 3 or 4 a year, but thousands of people claim to find one just about every day.
Place a post in the CONECA SERVICES area, under ATTRIBUTIONS on this forum and let the CONECA staff see the photos. I have little hope that this one is a winner.Gary Kozera
