CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    2023-P Lincoln Cent strike through progresssion

    Hey everyone, just wanted to share some photos of this brand new 2023-P Lincoln Cent strike through progresssion I am currently uncovering. I have many stages in between these but I am limited to the amount photo uploads. 10 rolls in on a new box. Sorry they uploaded out of order.

      If the area is left of the date, below the chin and it is dented there, almost like a small pit, the lighting is wrong. If your talking of that tear drop shaped item, it's not a strike through.

      Yes, it could be a plating issue or a start of a die crack, in my opinion.

        i thought the OP was referring to the stuff ABOVE the date.
