CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hi Bethany....the best way to learn what's here is to just check things out. You will get the hang of it in no time.

lol thank you James. I’ll do my best!

in your opinion what is the best way to research a possible error? For instance I have 1988 D Lincoln cent with multiple mint marks. I would love to hear how you would research something like this. Thank you!

Hello my name is Joel Roy and I'm a new non paying member for now but plan on being a paying member in the future. I'm new to collecting coins I've been doing it for about 6 months and I've spent countless hours hunting for coins around town and have some very promising coins.

New member here. Just signed up a couple of days ago and forum privelages added today. Non paying member but downloaded the pdf form to join snail mail as I don't have PayPal. The main reason I joined is back in the day I used to buy junk / cull to stack and recently went back through some of the rolls I had bought and found what appears to be two rolls of 64 dimes uncirculated but they have really weird attributes. I think I may have found a new find so I wanted to present them here and get professional help on trying to identify.
As I said at the start, not a coin collector so I don't know if I will be able to add value to the forums and that's why I decided to join as a paying member to try to at least contribute something in the void of my knowledge.
