CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    hello, im Julie I have always been interested in coins just as a hobby. always just checkin for odd ones .Not real sucessfull. My husband 's father passed many years ago and had left him a few bags of older coins that now i get to go threw. Its kinda exciting! So heres to finding a good one !

    There are some decent forum members here to answer your coin related questions.

    As you go through the bags and examine coins, it is vital to know where the mint mark might be on the coins you have. Some of the coins with certain mintmarks can be worth a lot more. Then it boils down to the condition of the coin. One other suggestion, avoid cleaning coins it will significantly lower the value of the coin.
