Hi there everyone I’m Tim
Hi everyone I’m Tim, just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little something about me. I’m self employed I own an outdoor power equipment repair shop. I also have a popular YouTube channel where my two sons ,wife and myself make funny and informative videos related to outdoor power equipment repair. Just in case you’re wondering the name of the channel is Taryl Fixes All. So since I own a business I do find collectable coins and paper money. Mostly wheat pennies and Canadian coins. On the other hand my wife works for a bank and she finds way better coins. Even though most of the wheat pennies I find are in the penny rolls I get from the bank. So I’m here like the rest of you to find out if I might have a good find or a coin thats worth face value.Tags: None

Welcome aboard.
Its good to have a family member working for a bank. She might be able to order you your favorite types of rolls. I highly suggest adding some sort of mark on the roll, so once your done with your search and return it to the bank, if you see that mark on a roll, you know you have already searched it. It will probably be a good idea to inform the wife about the mark as well, so she can pass on bringing them home.
Bagged coinage might have a slightly better chance at finding errors, and potentially varieties, but with the super high quality assurance and quality control in place at the US Mint's since 2003 or so, really dramatic errors are not escaping the mint.
There are how ever many countries, especially in Europe that have a lot of varieties like over dates, re-punched dates and a handful of doubled dies.

Thanks for the advice. The coin counting machine at the bank kicks out the silver coins somehow and the bank offers those coins back to the customer. Oddly enough most customers don’t want them back and the bank employees can buy them at face value. We have lots of them.
