CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hey everyone. My name is Jerry and I've been enjoying coins since I can remember. I used to sit at my grandfather's safe for hours and hours on end when I was 10-15 years old and kind of lost touch through out my 20s. I recently got back into collecting about a year ago and don't have a niche yet. I just collect what I find interesting and cool!

I am not a paying member of CONECA but I will consider it in the future. Anything that helps me on my collection journey is a plus in my book!

Just kidding, I am a paying member of CONECA. ☺️ I just finished with PayPal and everything, just waiting for the approval!

My name is Ashley. I am not a paying member at the current time but hope to be soon. I have had interest in coins for many years...but only recently a huge interest in error coins and varieties after recently acquiring a large penny collection that I believe to be comprised of many raw error coins. I have a few questions as to a couple I strongly feel could be special so was hoping to get your opinions before submitting.
