CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I live in Texas and got interested in coins when my wife found a stash of coins from her first husband (he passed) I had just had back surgery and nedded something to do that wasn't to physical. Been at it since then, 3 years ago. I am here as a new paying member to learn more. I look forward to sharing my most recent discovery here shortly. Thank you!

Hi, I am new to posting about coins. Not much experience. Found some of my mom's coins, that got me interested. I was going thru a roll of pennies from the bank, and came across this coin. It's a 2000D. Have never seen something like this, so don't know what to call it. Maybe die clash. Would appreciate your help, thank you!
