CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hi everyone, my name is Marty I’ve recently resurrected my interest in coins app 45 years old because of my two young sons interest. To be honest with you I have not looked at coins since I was probably 14 or 15 years old. My sons were with me cleaning out my grandparents basement and we came across, three 5 gallon glass jugs of coins That have not been looked at since probably the early 90s. Every day when my grandfather came home, I remember he had an empty his change into it, and it was never touched after that. He had no interest in collecting neither to my father. I remember when I was young and I would take some change to look for, Wheat pennies, Indian Head pennies, mercury dimes and anything silver to collect, which I still have a bunch of it because I never got rid of them. Both of my boys are intrigued so we started going through them and found some really cool stuff. Hopefully we find some things we can put on here and get your guises opinions, thanks again for any information you give us in the future. Have a great Sunday.
