CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I'm a new member to this forum but have been rabidly searching coins rolls for the last 1.5-2 years.

I work as upper management at a small company that has 15 locations and the first thing I check at a store is the cash drawer for errors/key dates/silver I can snag at face value.

I've gotten like 10 silver quarters, 15 silver dimes and like 30 war nickels at face value so far.

The reason I got into coins was because I found a buffalo nickel opening a roll at work and was fascinated.

The store manager was completely nonplussed and said "ew, that ugly old nickel? I couldn't wait to give it out."

Since then I've been obsessed and have landed a bunch of neat little things.

I'm pretty active on the coin roll hunting reddit but haven't used forums in awhile.

I look forward to moving back into using forums (it's been years) to show some of my finds and learn some things from you guys.

Most of the time my finds end up just being PMD, but I have managed to snag a few key dates for pennies and nickels (what I most enjoy hunting honestly)
