CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Hello everyone! Ryan's Introduction

Hi! My name’s Ryan, I’ve been collecting for a couple of years now, started out stacking but quickly grew to enjoy numismatics! I first started with fractional gold, but now my main projects are silver eagles and trying to collect every die variety of 1946-64 Roosevelt dimes! I also am a fan of Daniel Carr over at the Moonlight Mint and love his silver eagle overstrikes and state quarters. How many people get to say they have a proof 2009 silver eagle in their collection?

Anyone else out there fans of silver Roosevelt die varieties?

    Take care yall!

    -Ryan

    Hello.
    Welcome aboard.
There are a wide variety of collectors within the forum.
And there are some good folk that can answer your coin related questions.

    Places like

Are good reference websites to see how many varieties are out there for most modern denominations.

    Happy hunting.
