CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hello, I am Rob Wright, from Indiantown, FL. My journey with coin appreciation began in April 2024, when we inherited over 900 coins from my mother-in-law. She was a banker all her life and she bought coins for my wife throughout her career, sometimes making loans to purchase them for my wife. As I studied to learn about each coin, I became more and more interested with Numismatic values. Fast forward, and I have now become a coin roll hunter. I enjoy the thrill of the search and just handling coins with such history. I'm a paying member of CONECA and I look forward to using information here as a resource for my hobby.

    Welcome aboard.

There are some good folks in here that can answer your coin related questions. There are some good websites out there to help us figure out what is going on with those potential errors and varieties. It depends on the type of coins and general years that you are collecting.

I had my fun roll hunting. One of the best things I did do is put a mark on a roll which I had already searched, so I knew that I could pass on that roll if I seen that mark or symbol. It's a time saver and gages the amount of rolls the bank has to offer.
