CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Would Like to Introduce Myself.

Hello all. This is weird to talk about Myself. Since I am of the older type, I don't have Facebook, never seen a tictok video, etc. I do have X and watch YouTube. So, the about me is strange really. I love numismatics, have collected what's since a child. Now I have binders of beautiful coins. My favorite is constitutional silver coins. My father served in the Silent Service and traveled the world during and after Vietnam War. So I have also world coins I know nothing about. In 2023, my 101 yr old grandmother passed, leaving me all her 1921 silver dollars. Since then, I have started coin hunting from bank rolls. I am addicted. I use a microscope and watch too many videos. I am so pleased that I have found this forum. My most recent discovery was March 3, 2025....two wounded eagle 2000 p $1 on the same day. OK, that was not so bad.... thanks for having me.

    Welcome aboard.

I dont know if you know about https://numista.com for the foriegn coins. Itsa decent place to get info. If you end up going there, hit the CATALOG tab, then there is a button in the center called ISSUERS.

Choose your country. Then when some coins show, its best to use the SEARCH QUERY box and put the date only in this box and hit search. It should display all coins of that country for your search you can then hopefully, find info on that coin.

vamworld.com is the place to look up any varieties on Morgan or Peace Dollars. They have it broken down by date and mint marks.

This website is having some issues and apparently they are working on it. So photos wont upload and at times the forum crashes. Just so you know.
